Mr Kunasingham ensured that I only underwent keyhole surgery when it looked at first like more invasive surgery was required. Recovery has been quick and excellent. Would highly recommend his services

I cannot thank Mr Kumar Kunasingam enough and excellent consultant, that I fully trust. I have had two operations minimal invasive surgery on each of my feet 'One a Bunion and the other foot a dislocated toe' and will possibly have to have more operations on my feet. I will not see any other consultant. I had no pain or very little that just a couple of paracetamol was more than enough pain medication. I had seen previously two surgeons at my local hospital they did not believe in this type of surgery and only believed in open surgery. I would not go down this route again as had open surgery on my feet several years ago. Please do not hesitate to see Mr Kumar Kunasingham or have an operation with him. Very kind and caring consultant. Thank You

I had open surgery on my left foot in November 2019 with another surgeon then went onto have keyhole surgery again on my left foot with Mr Kunasingam in January 2021. This was a complete success with a quick recovery. I am now booked to have my right foot done in the future with Mr Kunasingam.

I have been a patient of the hospital for over a year and underwent foot surgery by Mr Kunasingam. He provided personalized service and took the time to get to know me. I have met with many consultants and he was by the far the best and so personable. Mr Kunasingam set realistic expectations of the procedures and was able to offer further care when the issue was not resolved. It was a pleasure to be a patient in his care. I would highly recommend him.

One week after keyhole bunion surgery and I am astonished that I can walk with very little pain and discomfort. Many people advised me not to have surgery because it's extremely painful and very debilitating due to the long recovery period. However, for me, they couldn't be further from the truth! I am so happy I opted for surgery and am amazed at how mobile I am at this early stage. Mr Kunasingam treated me in 2019 to remove a bursa on my foot - which again was very successful - and during my appointments with him, we discussed that my bunion was getting progressively worse and how much relief I would feel if it was removed. He talked me through the process and told me to think about it and return to him when I felt ready. Just over a year on and I wished I'd had surgery sooner. I know it's early days and I have a way to go before I'm fully recovered, but as long as I follow Mr Kunasingam's 'maintenance plan,' I have no doubt that this overall experience will be a positive one. As soon as you meet Mr Kunasingam you realise how passionate he is about his work, but most of all he is compassionate, caring and informative with his patients, taking the time to talk you through every process leaving you rest assured and relaxed about your pending surgery. Mr Kunasingam is a talented surgeon who I would highly recommend for bunion surgery.
